NEED TO TAKE THE GED?

Top Floor Learning, located in the Palmer Public Library, provides a complete package of GED services for young adults who are 16 or over and have left high school.

To help you prepare for the GED Test:

• Pre-GED Math: One to One Instruction
• Pre-GED Reading/Writing: One to One Instruction
• Prerequisite: ability to read at a 5th grade level.
• A complete skills assessment will be performed at the initial free interview
• Cost: $75.00 per six months, 2 hours per week for a minimum of 36 hours

To find out if you are ready to take the Full GED Test:

• GED Official Half-Length Practice Test
• Day 1: science, social studies, reading
• Day 2: writing and mathematics
• The TFL director will meet individually with you to discuss your test results.
• Cost: $30.00

Full Battery GED Test:

• This Test is offered twice a year in Spring and Fall.
• A three-day period of testing administered by Holyoke Community College at the Palmer Public Library
• Time: 10 a.m. to 2 pm each day.
• Prerequisites: applicants under 18 must bring a letter from their last high school stating the date of withdrawal (transcript or withdrawal form not accepted), and a Massachusetts photo ID
• Cost: $65.00 money order only payable to HCC-GED Testing.
