TAKE THE GED CLOSE TO HOME
The GED full battery test will be administered by Holyoke Community College at the Palmer Public Library
DATE: A three-day period of testing
- October 12, 2010 Tuesday
- October 13, 2010 Wednesday
- October 14, 2010 Thursday
TIME: 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. each day

Register: FIVE DAYS: Mon, Sept. 20 – Fri. Sept. 24, 2010, During Library Hours.
Cost: Money Order of $65 payable to HCC-GED Testing

Allow 30 minutes to fill out paper work
Under 18 years of age, parent/guardian must sign paperwork
**Applicants under 18 years of age, MUST obtain a letter from their last high school stating the date of withdrawal. Transcripts/Withdrawal forms

NEED TO TAKE THE GED?
Top Floor Learning, located in the Palmer Public Library,
provides a complete package of GED services for young adults who are 16 or over and have left high school.
To help you prepare for the GED Test:
- Pre-GED Math: One to One Instruction
- Pre-GED Reading/Writing: One to One Instruction
- Prerequisite: ability to read at a 5th grade level.
- A complete skills assessment will be performed at the initial free interview
- Cost: $75.00 per six months, 2 hours per week for a minimum of 36 hours
To find out if you are ready to take the Full GED Test:
- GED Official Half-Length Practice Test
- Day 1: science, social studies, reading
- Day 2: writing and mathematics
- The TFL director will meet individually with you to discuss your test results.
- Cost: $30.00
Full Battery GED Test:
- This Test is offered twice a year in Spring and Fall.
- A three-day period of testing administered by Holyoke Community College at the Palmer Public Library
- Time: 10 a.m. to 2 pm each day.
- Prerequisites: applicants under 18 must bring a letter from their last high school stating the date of withdrawal (transcript or withdrawal
form not accepted), and a Massachusetts photo ID
- Cost: $65.00 money order only payable to HCC-GED Testing.
