What We Offer: An Overview

Top Floor Learning will offer the following core classes to adults. Classes will be conducted in eight-week cycles.

1. LITERACY SERVICES: Group classes as well as weekly, one-to-one individualized tutoring sessions

• Writing Workshops
• Conversation classes in English as a Second Language
• GED Preparation, including one-to-one tutoring in math, reading and writing
• Official GED Practice Test
• Citizenship Preparation
• One-to-one ESL tutoring
• One-to-one reading & writing
• Basic Math Skills for Everyday Life
• Consumer Math

2. LIFELONG LEARNING COURSES

These will take the form of: lectures, discussions, single classes, courses, workshops, demonstrations, video presentation, etc. as appropriate. These will be offered throughout the year, both at Palmer Public Library and selected off-site locations, and will be a response to the expressed needs and interests of the community. A wide selection of adult lifelong learning offerings will include the following:
