"I've been studying English at TFL since last July. We found out about this place from my husband's son. I came here because I need English and I was feeling ready to start my "new education".

I arrived in America two years ago, from Russia where I lived in the city, had very interesting life , good job, I was well educated (two high educations: economical and faculty of law). But first time here for me was very difficult. With my level of English I even was afraid to speak : . I felt myself like five years old girl …: and now I know, when you live in foreign country, to feel yourself free, you have to understand everyone and everything and also you have to be understood.

I like TFL very much. I met many good people here and everybody was nice to me. Also I was lucky, because TFL helped me to find a friend… I have wonderful tutor, her name is Ellen. She tries to make everyone of our lessons different. Ellen has taught me a lot of new things. The most difficult for me are grammar and pronunciation.

Also I attend the Intermediate ESL Class each week. Our teacher's name is Tony, he is interesting person with good sense of humor. His lessons are very helpful and productive too. And once a month we have Talk Times (a conversation group). I always looking forward to these days :-).

I still do not speak English perfectly, but I have made big progress. I feel it myself and all the people, who know me since I came to America can see the difference too… Thanks TFL!!!"
