15th Annual May Basket Raffle!
This year's Basket Raffle was bigger than ever - 60 baskets! Thanks go to all the donors who so generously filled their baskets. Special thanks go to Palmer Public Library for displaying the baskets in the foyer, to Sue Chaffee for the use of her hanging system for the paintings, and to the volunteers and library staff who helped to sell tickets. The total sum raised in ticket sales was $9,811.17 (after tax and expenses) plus $300 in extra donations, for a grand total of $10,111. All proceeds go to supporting Top Floor Learning’s adult literacy programs. See you at the same time and same place next year for the 16th Annual May Basket Raffle – it’s not too soon to start thinking about your basket!
